Mount Errigle is similar but not in size as it would only take a moderatly fit person one and a half to two hours to climb up the mountain weather permitting. Croagh Patrick is less boggy and has more loose stones underfoot which makes for dangerous climbing on the steep bits. Errigle is only stoney near the pinnacle otherwise boggy with large boulders or stones to travel over. Errigle has another advantage in that it is lower and less likely to cloud over except at the very top. Croagh Patrick is more dangerous and should be avoided on very windy days. The views from both mountains are one thing they have in common as in on a good day fabulous! Good luck with either mountain.
Q:
How much is a taxi from bus station
A:
there is no bus station nearby. car hire is essential if you want to visit Donegal and Mount Errigal.
Q:
Is there plenty of parking, looking to park a motorhome? Thanks
A:
There's a car park at the bottom and another one quarter of mile away, depends how busy it gets, can't be anymore specific than that I'm afraid
