Jamaica Scuba Divers is probably the best place to learn to dive. Fruity is an amazing instructor and will take great care of you. You don't need to bring anything, they have all of the gear you will need. You have two options - you can do a 'resort dive' which is basically getting in to a basic dive without having your certification. Or the better option if you have a couple of days is to get your open-water certification. Fruity taught my 8-year old how to dive last year, highly recommend doing your first dive with Fruity.
