We went for the fireworks show which was delightful. The boat goes out past Waikiki then turns around so be on the right side to see the fireworks. It was a beautiful ship with friendly crew. Full review by DarDar2023

If you have a car you can traverse to Waikiki beach at any of the hotels that skirt the shore. I stayed at the Moana Surfrider. They have a magnificent rocking chair row that looks out over the ocean, beach bar and pool. Their outdoor dining is also available in the same area. Shopping is just down the street. Or take a drive to the far side of the island to see its beauty. It would take half a day or a bit more to take in the sights. Hope this helps.
