Without the bridge there is no gorge to see. It’s costs between 15k and 20k a year to maintain this bridge. As such we charge £5 for parking or free if you are an NTS member. Please be respectful to staff who are there for your safety. We highly recommend not parking in any other areas that are not designated NTS parking as this could be dangerous. Plan ahead and have a “B” plan as our car park is small and can get busy and fill quickly. Please keep dogs on leads at all times

It is a tarmac path down to the bridge but it is fairly steep. Only 6 people are allowed on the bridge at a time. It would probably be too difficult to go to the viewing platform as it is along a …

It is a tarmac path down to the bridge but it is fairly steep. Only 6 people are allowed on the bridge at a time. It would probably be too difficult to go to the viewing platform as it is along a grassy path. If you can take your time, you could get down to the bridge but it could be difficult coming back up. An electric wheelchair/mobility scooter would be best bet. I hope that's helpful.

With time allocated for sightseeing and the obvious extra effort required for the return "climb" allow 30 minutes. The nearest facilities are in Ullapool a 10 minute drive away.
