The Airport Tour takes u by bus, on runways or close by... u will see the whole area from close by, u will see A380 and 747-800. Sometimes they load very, very expensive cars into freighters to the Emirates... it depends on the day of the week.. and the time of the day... Not so good times are between 11 and 2 pm because the traffic is slower.
Couldn't see where else to ask. I am flying to Nairobi and have a transit in Frankfurt for 2 hours going there and for 5 hours on my return flight. Does anyone know what there is to do in transit? Also do we need to collect our luggage or is that automatically transferred to the next plane? Many thanks

Hello. Usually Airlines check the baggage through to final destination but you should check when you check in in UK. Two hours on the way doesn’t leave you much time to do anything else than shopping but on the return flight you could take one of the airport tours. They take you to the runway very close to the large planes and commentators are quite funny as well. Have a good trip!

If you know a fair amount about airlines you do not need to know German. We did not speak German and loved the tour. Our grandson knew many of the airlines and the types of planes so he was our "tour guide". Plus, I believe some of their tours have an English speaker.
Hi, I have a 7 hour connection time at Frankfurt Airport. I wil be arriving at terminal 1 from canada and my departure flight to dubai is also from Terminal 1. I have an indian passport with canadian tourist visa stamping but dont have schengen visa. Can I book one of the Airport hotels or do I need to stay in the terminal only?
