Vance Township is a township in Vermilion County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,057 and it contained 457 housing units. Vance Township was created in 1866. According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 40.03 square miles, of which 39.96 square miles is land and 0.08 square miles is water.
