After AAP's defeat in Delhi elections, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and AAP MLAs is expected to meet Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the outcome.

In the aftermath of the results, former BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh reportedly claimed that the AAP government in Punjab was on the verge of collapse.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Singh on Tuesday morning arrived at the Kapurthala House in New Delhi to attend a meeting called by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National convenor Arvind Kejriwal. AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang said that such a meeting was being held to discuss the Delhi elections and prepare strategies.

He also slammed Bajwa over his criticism of law and order in Punjab, and said the situation was better than most of the states

The meeting follows AAP’s big defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections and rising speculation about internal discord within the party’s Punjab unit

The AAP lost the assembly elections to the BJP while the AAP’s national convenor faced defeat at the hands of saffron party’s candidate Parvesh Verma in the New Delhi seat.

The AAP had stormed to power in Punjab in 2022 by winning 92 seats in the 117-member House. Following this, Bhagwant Mann was sworned in as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Arvind Kejriwal has summoned all Punjab MLAs and ministers after AAP's defeat in the Delhi elections. This follows Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa's claim that some AAP MLAs are in touch with Congress.
