According to police, Valentin was last seen walking in the 500 block of SE 5th Ave, behind the Cultural Park Theater in Cape Coral wearing gray shorts

A two-year-old girl was abducted in Fort Myers on Monday, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.CCPD states they are working to find Camilla Guzman, 2, and the suspect, Luis Valentin, 24, with the help of the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

The Florida AMBER Alert has been issued for Camila Guzman, who is missing from the 4600 block of Deleon Street in Fort Myers.

According to the alert, Camila Guzman went missing earlier in the day from the area around Deleon Street, south of Colonial Boulevard, in Fort Myers. At the time, she was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt and black pants. After she disappeared, Camila may have been seen on Southeast 5th Avenue, in Cape Coral.

January was a lively month on the Southwest Florida foodie scene. 2025 began with a Cape Coral bakery debuting on Jan. 1 and ended with the grand opening a full service restaurant in Bonita Springs. Seven more restaurants — coffee and bagel shops included — popped up in between. Four more, unfortunately, shut their doors.
