No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Wednesday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery. One ticket was sold matching five numbers, but not the Powerball, in Mississippi, and is worth $1 million.

A single ticket sold in the city of Petal hit the jackpot, winning $10 million after matching all six numbers in the Double Play drawing Monday, Jan. 10, according to Powerball. The lucky player bought the ticket at the Petal Food Mart, beating odds of 1-in-292,201,338 to snag the top prize, the Mississippi Lottery said in a news release.
