The Lion King is heading for a home release this month as the film announces its digital and physical release dates, just over a month after it hit theaters. The film which features the voices of Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, of Hamilton fame and many other fantastic musical works, brought Disney fans a wonderful new original soundtrack for Mufasa: The Lion King. Many fans have said that this soundtrack is their favorite Disney original soundtrack in years!

Fans can now relive the epic story of Mufasa in their preferred format, complete with enhanced features and exclusive content.

Disney has announced the Mufasa: The Lion King Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release details. The film, which has grossed $653 million worldwide, will arrive at digital retailers (Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home) on February 18 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on April 1.

The Lion King Digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for its latest musical prequel, which hails from acclaimed filmmaker Barry Jenkins. This comes after over a month since the movie had its theatrical debut.
