A federal judge blocked Trump’s order ending birthright citizenship for children of parents in the U.S. illegally, calling it a bid to ignore the Constitution for political gain.

The nationwide injunction, from a Maryland case, is more permanent than last month’s restraining order from a judge in Seattle.
