ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting that left a 40-year-old man dead Thursday in the Vine City community.

police said. Atlanta officers were called at about 9:45 p.m. about a person shot at the City Views at Rosa Burney Park complex on Richardson Street. The apartments are across the street from the park.
