Beyoncé is now the holder of a country Grammy, rewarding her move into the genre with a win for best country duo/group performance with Miley Cyrus.

Beyoncé was the most nominated artist at the 2025 Grammys with 11 nods, but her journey to the country win in particular was hard won. She made “Cowboy Carter,” released in March, after the response to her performance of her song “Daddy Lessons” with the Chicks at the Country Music Association Awards in 2016.

Beyoncé earned her first album of the year award at this year's Grammys for her acclaimed eighth studio album, "Cowboy Carter."
