A Powerball ticket sold in Florida won $1 million, but just missed the $88 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers, but not the Powerball, in the drawing Saturday, Feb. 1, the national Powerball site said.

Saturday night’s Fantasy 5 pull came up 4, 12, 17, 25 and 28, matched by tickets sold at a 7-Eleven in Winter Park, a liquor store in Paisley and the Publix at 4240 53rd Ave. E in Unincorporated Manatee County, the Quick Pick ticket of the trio. Each ticket’s share of the pot is $44,835.

Another Fantasy 5 player hit the jackpot earlier that day, winning $50,763.43 in the game’s midday drawing, per the Florida Lottery. That winning ticket was sold at the Barefoot Bay Food Store in Sebastian. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, lottery officials said.
