BRADENTON, Fla. — Jennifer Kupcho found more joy in golf in 2024 and she carried that into her first LPGA event this season, shooting a 6-under 65 on Thursday to share the first-round lead with Nanna Koerstz Madsen at the Founders Cup.

Nanna Koerstz Madsen of Denmark and Jennifer Kupcho of the United States are tied for the lead at the 2025 Founders Cup after shooting 6-under-par 65s in the first round. Notable players trailing the leaders include Lauren Coughlin, Angel Yin, Jin Hee Im, and 2024 LPGA Player of the Year Nelly Korda.

Denmark's Nanna Koerstz Madsen and American Jennifer Kupcho each fired a six-under par 65 to share the lead after Thursday's first round of the LPGA Founders Cup."I was very pleased with the round," Madsen said.
