Rookie guard Dalton Knecht is back on the Los Angeles Lakers after the trade that briefly sent him to the Charlotte Hornets was rescinded. After the team's loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, Knecht spoke to reporters for the first time since the whirlwind week started and said that the entire experience was a "crazy time" and "felt like a movie.

According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, Knecht spoke with Lakers head coach JJ Redick before the game to discuss his mindset following the failed trade. Per Buha, the rookie guard told Redick he needed more time to process the situation before returning to action.

After previously announcing the acquisition of Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets, the Los Angeles Lakers said Saturday that they rescinded the deal "due to failure to satisfy a condition of the trade.
