Nasa’s two stuck astronauts may end up back on Earth a little sooner than planned. The space agency announced on Tuesday that SpaceX will switch capsules for upcoming astronaut flights in order to bring Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home in mid-March instead of late March or April.

NASA and SpaceX are accelerating the target launch and return dates for the upcoming crew rotation missions to and from the International Space Station (ISS), which will bring the agency's stranded astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore back.

NASA has confirmed that the Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) will launch two weeks before the planned date. The agency said in a statement on Tuesday that the launch is targeted on March 12, pending mission readiness and completion of flight readiness certification.
