Nagy was hired by the Chicago Bears in 2018 after serving as the Chiefs offensive coordinator under Andy Reid. Interestingly, the Jets tried to hire Nagy to be their offensive coordinator in 2017 under then head coach Todd Bowles, but Reid blocked the team’s request and kept him in Kansas City.

If all goes well this Tuesday afternoon, the New York Jets will land their head coach for the 2025 season. The Jets have interviewed a plethora of candidates this coaching cycle, including but not limited to Mike Vrabel,
