The Princess Royal returned to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England, where she spent five days in June 2024 due to a horse-related injury at Gatcombe Park estate, her country home.

The Princess Royal's hospital stopped followed a similar visit Kate Middleton made to another medical center Princess Anne made a special visit to the hospital where she was treated after a horse-related accident to thank the staff who looked after her.

The royal told the staff at Bristol’s Southmead Hospital that she doesn’t remember the details of her injury, adding “sadly, I don’t have huge memories of being in here either.”

Princess Anne has thanked hospital staff who treated her for a head injury last summer. The Princess Royal visited Southmead Hospital in Bristol on Thursday for a tour of the building, meeting with some of the doctors, nurses and health professionals involved in her care.
