The Dallas-based carrier is adding two new routes as part of its schedule extension. The new routes are San Diego to Fresno, California, and Austin to Jacksonville, Florida.

The final two destinations within Texas which Southwest serves from Houston are Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) and Austin Bergstrom International. Both of these flights are high-frequency services, with the airline flying to Corpus Christi twice per day on average and more than three times per day on average to Austin.

The airline has just added more nonstop flights and increased service in key U.S. cities, including San Diego, Austin and Nashville, through November 2025.
