Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry delivered a vintage performance in front of his home crowd, leading Shaq’s OGs to victory in the first NBA All-Star mini tournament on Sunday night and earning MVP honors.

On top of an incredible performance from Curry to win the All-Star Game, the Warriors superstar made history. With his MVP performance, Curry becomes the oldest guard in NBA history to win All-Star Game MVP, and the second oldest player to ever win the award, trailing Shaquille O'Neal by just one week.

Curry named MVP of the event as his squad defeated a team of mostly international players, including Victor Wembanyama, 41-25.

The All-Star championship tipped off after what seemed like endless commercial breaks and miscellaneous on-court performances. Curry tipped it off with a one-legged, one-handed 3-pointer, igniting an 11-0 Team OG run.

Curry and Tatum led Shaq's OGs to a 42-35 win over (Candace) Parker's Rising Stars in the first round of the mini-tournament. In the championship game, Shaq's OGs defeated Chuck's (Charles Barkley) Global Stars 41-25.

League officials attempted to resurrect the Curry-Ionescu competition in some form as late as Wednesday, multiple league sources said.

After punching a ticket to the championship game with a win over the Rising Stars in the first-ever All-Star Game mini-tournament, Steph Curry put on a show in front of his home fans in attendance at San Francisco's Chase Center.

The Warriors superstar was splashing threes from all across the court, including a half-court shot that was vintage Curry. That shot came en route to he and the rest of “Shaq’s OGs” win in the final game of the tournament.
