The thirteenth season of The Masked Singer kicked off with a sweet surprise as Cedric the Entertainer was revealed to be the first celebrity contestant under the Honey Pot mask.

Details follow for Season 13, Episode 1 of “The Masked Singer,” “Lucky Season 13,” which aired February 12 on Fox. Cedric the Entertainer got that name for a reason: He’s more than a comedian and actor.

Honey Pot faced a sticky situation early on. He was the first performance of the season, going out singing "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake. After being eliminated, Honey Pot was unmasked and revealed to be legendary King of Comedy Cedric the Entertainer.

Season 13 of "The Masked Singer" premiered with Group A contestants, including Honey Pot, who was revealed as comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Cedric the Entertainer, known for roles in "Barbershop," "Madagascar," and "The Steve Harvey Show," was the first to be unmasked in the season's debut.

The Golden Mask Trophy is up for grabs once more with 15 all-new secret celebrity singers set to take to the stage for season 13 of The Masked Singer. Season 12 came to the end of the road with Boyz II Men -- dressed as Buffalos -- beating fellow R & B star Mario in the final to become the first group to win the talent show.
