Hoboken residents should be careful and not drink tap water without boiling it on Tuesday, officials say. The reason? A boil water advisory has been issued for Hoboken due to fluctuations in water pressure caused by efforts to stabilize service after a water main break at 18th Street & Jersey Avenue in Jersey City.

The city of Savannah has issued a boil water advisory for customers on Dutch Island. Savannah Water crews said it's after a contractor accidentally damaged a waterline. People living in the area are asked to boil their water for the time being. Here are some guidelines: Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute.

Due to the large size of the water main break, many residents in southern Prince George’s County are experiencing low water pressure, and some areas may have no water at all. As a precautionary measure, WSSC Water has recommended that all affected customers follow Boil Water Advisory guidelines.
