The race for the No. 1 seed in next month's SEC Women's Basketball Tournament is down to three teams in the top 10 - Texas, South Carolina and LSU. The Longhorns have a game lead over the Gamecocks and Tigers following recent wins over the two in the last month.

No. 4 LSU women's basketball has been projected to make the Field of 68 since the outset of the season and after winning 25 of its first 26 games, currently sitting in a tie for first-place in the Southeastern Conference race, Kim Mulkey 's team making the tourney is no question.
