Michigan State basketball was able to avoid a three-game losing streak, coming back against Oregon and shocking the Ducks after going down 50 to 36 in the first half. Despite the nice win, the Spartans still fell two spots in the AP Poll this week thanks to their rough road trip in Los Angeles.

The Ducks (16-8, 5-8 Big Ten) did not receive any votes in this week’s AP men’s college basketball poll and is down to just five points in the coaches poll, 33rd overall, after losing at Michigan and Michigan State last week. That’s down from 30th overall in both polls last week with 39 points and 30 points, respectively.

The Florida Gators recorded the best win of the men's college basketball season so far on Saturday, upsetting the top-ranked Auburn Tigers and thus earning three first-place votes in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.
