The nominees for best actor are: Adrien Brody, “The Brutalist”; Timothée Chalamet, “A Complete Unknown”; Colman Domingo, “Sing Sing”; Ralph Fiennes, “Conclave”; Sebastian Stan, “The Apprentice.”

Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will announce the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards. The two actors will come together on Thursday for a live presentation from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater to reveal the nominees in all 23 Academy Award categories.

Conan O’Brien will be hosting the 2025 Oscars, marking his first time hosting the ceremony. The 97th Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre on March 2, with the show airing on ABC. For the first time, it will also be available to stream live on Hulu.

Emilia Pérez raked in the most nominations Thursday morning, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked. The Academy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, March 2.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences began announcing the nominations Thursday at 8:30am Eastern via a wide array of platforms, including on Oscar.com, Oscars.org, the academy’s social network sites, ABC’s “Good Morning America,” as well as on Disney+ and Hulu. Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott are reading the nominees.
