Liverpool have been among the Premier League sides credited with an interest in the former Manchester City man as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, and it appears that Sane is no closer to signing a new contract.

Leroy Sané answered critics by scoring two goals as Bayern Munich routed Hoffenheim 5-0 to restore its four-point lead in the Bundesliga.

With less than six months remaining on his current contract with Bayern Munich, Leroy Sané's future remains up in the air. In an interview with Sport Bild, the winger confirms that other clubs have made inquiries about his situation. For now, though, he's determined to keep his focus on Bayern, where he wants to stay beyond the summer.
