When the Philadelphia 76ers signed Paul George in the summer, it was widely viewed as the move that would turn the Sixers into one of the favorites for the NBA Championship for the next few years at least.

Golden State has been active in discussions around the association and it seems that they are looking at a familiar player. According to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, the Warriors have checked in with the Philadelphia 76ers about a possible trade for forward Paul George.

The Golden State Warriors have ramped up their efforts to try and land a big-time star this season. The Feb. 6 trade deadline is right around the corner and the Warriors have stood pat by in large.
