An open border over the past four years has threatened Border Patrol agents and American communities alike as criminals took advantage of lax security.

Kristi Noem’s education savings accounts proposal — lobbyist and general counsel for the South Dakota Municipal League, Sam Nelson, reflected on a recent trip to Phoenix, Arizona.

Authorities have released the name of a man found dead in a Deadwood creek. Joshua Willis, 23, of Scottsdale, Arizona was found on Wednesday, according to the Deadwood Police Department. The department said it's working with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office as an investigation into the death continues.

The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Joshua Willis of Scottsdale, Arizona. At this time, there is no evidence suggesting foul play in his death, although the investigation remains active and ongoing. The official cause of death will be determined following an autopsy.
