Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine officially appointed Lt. Gov. Jon Husted to serve as the state’s newest member of the U.S. Senate at a press conference on Friday afternoon, January 17. Husted will join recently elected Bernie Moreno in Congress replacing Vice President-elect JD Vance, who was elected in 2020.
