Amazon workers at a warehouse in North Carolina voted against forming a union, another setback in the movement’s efforts against a company and state that is generally hostile to organizing.

North Carolina has the lowest union membership in the nation. A group of Amazon workers and organizers sought to buck that at a Garner warehouse, but were defeated.
