The following contains spoilers for the 'Cobra Kai' series finale. After its 7-year run, Cobra Kai has its swan song with the Sekai Taikai while also coming full circle and reminding us why the series exists in the first place.

In the final scene, Daniel attempts to catch a fly with chopsticks like Mr. Miyagi challenged him to do in The Karate Kid. Johnny comes and squishes the fly with his hands while they are out for lunch, once again illustrating that their friendship is based on differences.

In some way the show too finds itself. After a painful series-long tussle between Cobra Kai, Miyagi-do, a fusion of both and even Eagle Fang at one point, Cobra Kai returns to its roots by the close, grounding itself in what the show is really about, the reclaimed legacy of Cobra Kai.

Cobra Kai co-creator Jon Hurwitz has revealed the surprising Terry Silver-centric moment that was left out of the Netflix show's fist-pumping finale. As revealed on Twitter, the creators originally planned for the final episode's 'Sweet Child O' Mine'-backed montage to come with a final stinger: that of the Valley Monthly magazine speculating on the whereabouts of Terry Silver.

With such a massive ensemble cast built around the LaRusso and Lawrence families, Cobra Kai season 6, part 3 simply has too many characters just hanging around.
