Daylight Saving Time: Here’s when it arrives in New York
In 2025, Daylight Saving Time will start in New York City on Sunday, March 9. The clocks will “spring forward,” as the saying goes, at 2 a.m., and we’ll lose an hour of sleep. From that point, our days will continue to get longer until the summer solstice — the longest day of the year — on Friday, June 20, at 1:41 p.m.
