The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said the family of a man fatally shot by a deputy during a shooting at Main Event intends to file an objection to the release of footage of the shooting.

Douglas County deputies announced they had arrested six additional suspects in what appears to be two separate but connected shootings inside a Highlands Ranch entertainment center earlier this month.

One woman was injured in a shooting inside Main Event. A man was fatally shot by a Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputy outside the venue.

A Douglas County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a man in the parking lot of Main Event, a family-friendly entertainment venue, the sheriff's office said, and now a woman is in custody.
