As if egg prices weren't high enough, an entire shipment spilled out on the highway as a winter storm slammed into Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a semi-truck crash on the the Will Rogers Turnpike on Tuesday left the road covered in eggs.

OKLAHOMA, USA — A semi-truck carrying eggs crashed on an Oklahoma highway on Tuesday, Feb. 18, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). OHP said the truck crashed on the Will Rogers Turnpike and that minor injuries were reported.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semitrailer hauling cases of eggs crashed Tuesday afternoon in the northeast part of the state as winter weather moved into the area. In a social media post, OHP said the crash happened on Interstate 44,
