Jon Batiste turned his Super Bowl opportunity into a symphony of artistry, the debut of new music and a tribute to his hometown roots.

Jon Batiste kicked off Super Bowl LIX with his rendition of the National Anthem. The Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer, musician and composer – who doubles as leader of the house band for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” – belted out the anthem at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans,

The other 2025 Super Bowl performers include Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty, who are singing “America the Beautiful,” Ledisi, who is performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Kendrick Lamar, who is headlining the halftime show.
