Police evacuate Maine Mall in South Portland after shooting
The Maine Mall in South Portland was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a shooting. South Portland police confirmed around 4:30 p.m. they were searching the mall for a person suspected of shooting someone else inside the mall. They said a preliminary investigation suggests the shooting was an isolated incident.
Police said they found drugs including fentanyl and cocaine in packaging that resembles legal cannabis products.
