In December, the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace held the first bed build in Billings, with a goal of building 15 beds.

BPD sent an update that the suspect has been taken into custody without incident. The area is now accessible to the public with the exception of Jerrie Lane while officers continue to clear the scene.
