JACKSON COUNTY, OH (WOWK) — A 2.7-magnitude earthquake has been reported in Oak Hill, Ohio, around 25 miles north of Ironton. The U.S. Geological Survey said it happened just after 4 p.m. on Monday. Less than a week ago, another earthquake was reported in Washington County, Ohio, along the Ohio River. This one had a magnitude of 2.2.

The U.S. Geological Service is reporting a second earthquake in Ohio in one day, and the second for a community in one week.
