Sean Bean has joined the upcoming “Robin Hood” series at MGM+, Variety has learned. Bean will star alongside previously announced series lead Jack Patten, who will play the titular outlaw folk hero. Bean will star as the notorious Sheriff of Nottingham.

Games of Thrones vet Sean Bean has officially signed on to join the Robin Hood cast for MGM+‘s upcoming series adaptation of the classic English tale. This marks Bean’s latest TV project, since starring in the final season of Snowpiercer last year.
