As temperatures warm into the upper 30s Monday afternoon, rain and snow showers will mix before another round of snowfall moves in overnight. Between midnight and 6 a.m. Tuesday, western Washington could see a widespread trace to 2 inches of snow, with areas from Everett to Olympia most likely to be impacted.

Thursday will be a transitional day, as a big change in the weather pattern will usher in rain, cooler temperatures, and a chance for lowland snow through next week.
