Police in Scottsdale, Arizona have arrested two people suspected of defrauding central Florida homeowners out of millions of dollars.This was a case Action 9 first exposed in 2022 and it involved a company called Legacy Pools.

After a rainy weekend, cold temperatures are sweeping across Central Florida — with the frigid air here to stay. Overnight, temperatures dropped into the 30s and 40s, setting us up for a chilly Monday morning. Freeze warnings were in effect for multiple counties as wind chills dropped as low as in the 20s. Those warnings expired at 10 a.m.

Channel 9 is contacting county leaders around Central Florida to gather more details on shelters opening this week. Two cold-weather shelters will open on Thursday and Friday evenings, providing refuge for people experiencing homelessness. Doors will open at 6 p.m. to offer overnight shelter Thursday and Friday.
