Two people from Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa died in a head-on crash near North Bay on Thursday. The two-vehicle collision happened on Highway 17 in West Nipissing at about 11 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police say.
The OPP continues to investigate a head-on collision that occurred on Highway 17, which resulted in the deaths of two people. On Jan. 23 shortly after 11 a.m., the OPP, fire service and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 in the West Nipissing area. A 69-year-old-person from Wawa was pronounced deceased at the scene.
