The brother of the late New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been sentenced to 18 months of prison time already served for threatening to carry out a shooting at the University of Connecticut and to kill three people in 2023.

The judge ordered three years of supervised release where he must stay away from all UConn properties, including Rentschler Field, and submit to drug testing.
