Skokie lifts boil water order Sunday evening after water main break
A boil water order in Skokie was lifted Sunday evening, according to an update from village officials, after laboratory tests confirmed tap water was safe to drink and use for cooking and hygiene. Samples from 70 locations in the village had been tested to ensure they met quality standards set by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
