A controversial penalty that Julian Alvarez buried for his 17th goal in all competitions in the first half was canceled out by Kylian Mbappe's first goal in this rivalry in the second half.

Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga will be the two defensive midfielders. Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior will be the right and left midfielders, respectively, and provide width to the team. Jude Bellingham will be the central attacking midfielder.
