Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Sunday morning in the Ballard neighborhood.

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting early Sunday morning at Baker Park in Ballard. According to the Seattle Police Department, dispatch received a report of man lying unresponsive in the 8300 block of 14th Avenue Northwest at around 7:30 a.m.

SEATTLE — A violent weekend in Seattle as police investigate a person found dead at Baker Park in the Ballard neighborhood with gunshot wounds. Around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, police were called about an unresponsive person near the intersection of Northwest 85th Street and 14th Avenue Northwest.

Though it's the first homicide in the city for 2025, it's the fourth such investigation in King County this year.
