PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a minor league contract with Trey Mancini as the outfielder and first baseman attempts a comeback after sitting out all of last season.

Coming off that 35-homer year, Mancini was diagnosed with colon cancer and missed the entire 2020 season. But he beat cancer and returned to hit 21 home runs for the O's in 2021.
