Tigers acquire Minors catcher Delgado from Rays for Faedo
The Tigers on Monday traded former first-round Draft pick Alex Faedo to his hometown Tampa Bay Rays for Minor League catcher Enderson Delgado and cash, providing Detroit a return for a pitcher that the team had designated for assignment last week.

The Tigers acquired Delgado and cash considerations from the Rays on Monday in exchange for Alex Faedo, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports. Delgado, 20, hit .255/.382/.391 with four home runs over 56 games with Single-A Charleston last season. The switch hitter is primarily a catcher but also has some experience at first base.
