Iowa’s only Big Ten “double-play” is Nebraska, and the Hawkeyes seek a season split with the Huskers on Monday.

Coming into Saturday, just a half game separated the Colorado and Iowa State women’s basketball teams in the Big 12 standings. On the court, it wasn’t even close.

The action usually falls Iowa's way when in Minneapolis, with the Hawkeyes now having won their last 12 games in the city and their last 11 over Minnesota. A large chunk of that came via back-to-back Big Ten Tournament sweeps at Target Center, along with dominance at Williams Arena. But this night was always going to be much more difficult.

The Buffaloes' winning streak is no more as the Iowa State Cyclones blew out the Colorado women's basketball team on Saturday in Ames, 86-56. That 30-point margin represents the largest point spread any opponent has put on the Buffs this season.

No. 22 Florida State (19-5, 9-3 ACC) fell to no. 14 NC State (19-4, 11-1 ACC) by a 97-74 score today in Tallahassee. NC State took control of the game midway through the first quarter. The Wolfpack hit FSU with a 15-2 run that was capped by a layup from Aziaha James.
